RISE ICE Datacenter is a subsidiary of RISE  established in Luleå. The unit is formed around the creation of a datacenter in Luleå, called ICE.

ICE is the world’s first open research datacenter which really means that it is the world’s first open AI and big-data research datacenter. The focus of the Luleå team is sustainable datacenter systems, data platforms, earth observation data and edge computing.
